For those of you just getting me know me, I am excited to share my story, and I hope that you enjoy getting to know me a little better!
Where it all began…
I was super fortunate to have the opportunity to work for an airline (Canadian Regional/Air Canada Jazz) as their first-ever work experience student in high school. This experience was life-changing, as I didn’t ever really know what I wanted to do when I grew up. The work experience opportunity allowed me to transition into full-time work right out of high school, cleaning airplanes, and later into flying regionally as a flight attendant. It may sound super fancy and glorious, but my “main route” was Winnipeg, The Pas, Thompson, and back to Winnipeg. (But I still loved it) It was exhilarating when we got to fly somewhere like Vancouver or Boston. During that time, I created lifelong relationships, took every opportunity I had to travel internationally, and fell in love with anything related to travel and aviation.
In 2002 I did a complete career shift (over 20+ years ago!) into finance. I wanted the ability to help clients in all walks of life and didn’t want to be stuck to one lender product so, I joined a small boutique-style mortgage brokerage with outstanding mentorship and many opportunities for growth in 2005.
Fast forward to today, and much has changed. When I started, we took applications over the phone, collected documents in person and over fax, signed all paper documents with clients, and had to come to the downtown office for high-speed internet. How we communicate with our clients has changed entirely and efficiently with the use of the most up-to-date technology.
Our focus is on simplicity and efficiency.
The relationships we have built with clients over the past 20 years have turned into lifelong friendships, which is the job’s best part!
I learned quickly in my career that a successful client journey includes having a team to help them along the way.
I am genuinely fortunate to have amazing people on my team/staff with the same visions and goals directed toward the client experience.

As an individual, I believe my respect, understanding, and vast expertise set me apart from others.
I attribute my success to our commitment to building trust, fostering growth, and getting better and better. Right from the beginning, we have strived to be the best.
So far, 2022 has been a stellar year for us. In an industry where goals are set based on volumes and units, our goals have always been operational-based and will continue to revolve around the client journey.
We have made much progress, added valuable talent to our team, and methodically implemented new systems and processes to make our clients’ lives easier.
Personally, anyone who knows me well can attest to the fact that I am an astronomical ‘multi-tasker’ and ‘gift giver.’ I have a passion for both. I LOVE giving and work at my highest efficiency and capacity when I am at my busiest. I call these traits my superpowers!
In addition to my love for travel (having visited China, Thailand, Africa, Mexico, Jamaica, Costa Rica annually, and the list goes on….) I have been thoroughly enjoying and actively assisting my husband with his farming operation on the hundred-year-old Wandzura family farm since 2003.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things that matter to me and how they influence how I do business.
